Like the lizard he sings about, Robert's coat is as colorful and as shiny. At age thirteen he made
his television debut fronting a country band; at age seventeen he was bass guitarist and lead vocalist for a high-flying rock and roll band playing to festival-sized crowds, and by age nineteen had recorded his first single.
Raw and sinewy on stage, he rocks with honesty and intensity, while his Irish, French, Cree and
Apache roots help him remain true to the muses that guide him. A pure singer/songwriter, Robert
presents his music in a timely and ultimately, timeless fashion. A healthy lack of respect for musical borders only serve to make his music that much more memorable. Robert is currently in the recording studio, mastering his third CD "Slouching Towards Bethlehem", a twelve-song outing
that is slated for release by late August of this year.
"Get Raw", the first single from the upcoming release, is available as a music performance video in the DVD format and includes photos, lyrics, discography, television and live footage as well as other cool things you need to know. A must have for old and new fans alike.
His first two CD's, "Lizard On A Rock" and "Until Now" are available through CDBaby, Yahoo,
Apple I-Tunes, CDUniverse and other fine music establishments, and are welcome additions to any CD collection.
Oh, one small footnote...when I asked RJ if he and his "Januarys" are ready for the roller coaster ride that's about to begin, he just smiled and said he was born on a train.
